So keeping up with this blog has proved challenging. I haven't blogged on it in a week. I want to keep up the blog but between my family, cleaning, outside activities and my other blogs I am just soo busy & tired at the end of the day.
My calorie counting has gone down hill too. Don't think tomorrow's weigh in is going to be good at all!!! I learning to eat in moderation and that is helping me. That's what it is all about, right?
This is my journey to shed the extra pounds packed on during 3 pregnancies in 3.5years. This is my year to let the caged "Fit" mama inside of me loose finally. Follow me as I try to learn the balance between loving to cook, eat, run a few 5K's and compete in my first ever Sprint Triathlon. It's going to be an exciting year and I am ready to get Fit. Wed Sept 9-9-09
Wednesday was weigh in & also the famous 9-9-09! Do you know we will never have a single digit day like this again??? Crazy huh?
So at weigh in we have made it to the half way mark = 6weeks. (I have only been in it 5wks) And we took our measurements again. I have lost 5inches in 5wks, 1 inch around my hips alone!! And.....drum roll please...........................I lost 3.6lbs this week!!! And I tied for the biggest loser. That is the 2ND time I have been the Biggest Loser. It felt good to get those results. It brought a huge smile to my face for sure.
My total weight loss for the 5weeks so far is 10.4 lbs! And as a group, 7 women, we have lost 43lbs & 37 inches!!!! Pretty good don't ya think?
On with the cal count for the day......................................I had done good all day but I did have some ice cream & a cookie last night...Ya know to celebrate my big win ;o)
WTR: 96 ounces
Brkfst: Coffee & Creamer = 40
2 egg whites & 1 whole egg = 109
1 WW pita pocket = 150
1/2 C onions, peppers & mushrooms = 40
1 Tsp LF cheddar cheese = 20
Am Snack:
Lunch: 1/2 C turkey chili = 275
2 Rice cakes = 70
2 Tsp P.Butter = 60
Afternoon Snack: 1/2 of a protein bar = 135
Dinner: 40z of Top Loin Steak (new york) = 225
2 red potato's = 120
sauteed zucinni, onions & green peppers = 56
1/2 C steamed broccoli = 27
PM Snack: Herbalife protein drink = 35
1 Costco molasses cookie = 296 (not sure on cal content of cookie, I am estimating)
1/2 C vanilla ice cream = 160

Tuesday - Sept 8th
Today has been a good day. And getting back into the swing proved to be easier than I thought. I even walked 2.5 miles at the mall even though my friends all bailed.
Bill is working late so the girls and I were on our own for dinner. I heated up some frozen white bean chicken chili. I also make extra when I cook soups/stews and freeze the leftovers. So it was easy to go & pick out a quick dinner. And actually not bad calorie wise.
WTR: 80 ounces
Brkfst: 1 Cup cheerios & 1/2 C milk = 155
coffee & creamer = 20
Am Snack: 1/4 C almond trail mix = 140
Lunch: 2 Whole Wheat tortias = 160
2 oz pastrami = 80
2 slices turkey = 60
Afternoon Snack:

It was a hard weekend. What can I say but hard!! But I made it through. Last week I only lost .2 ounces at weigh in. That sucked!!! Who the heck knows what will happen tomorrow.
Labor Day was good calorie wise until Bill and I went out to dinner on a date to Olive Garden. We had a good time, but ohhh my goodness reviewing the calories today was NOT fun!

Sunday - September 6th = I'll be back!
So sorry, I have been slackin on this blog. Well, I haven't been keeping up with my other blog either.
Life has just been soooo busy the last few days. I will start again counting cals & blogging about my attempt to lose weight.
Last week at weigh in I only lost .2 ounces. Crazy!! Cause I had been working out & eating so good. At least it wasn't a gain. Which will probably be me this week.

Day 20 - Tuesday 9-1-09
Tuesday was Bill's dad's birthday. I ate well during the day but it all went to crap that night at dinner. Chinese food & then Dairy Queen for dessert. I counted calories all day until dinner. So my caloric intake this day is only up till dinner.
WTR: 96 ounces
Brkfst: 2 eggs & cheese = 175
1/2 p. toast w/butter = 75
3 sausage = 130
Red Potato's (2) = 150
Am Snack:
Lunch: WW Pita pocket = 150
2 slices turkey = 60
1 slice cheese = 110

Afternoon Snack: 1/4 C almond trail mix = 140
Tall Pumpkin Spice NF latte = 200
Dinner:
Lots of Chinese food - many different dishes. I did eat small portions
